Its best to chalk the tasks for tomorrow at the end of today. Once your day tasks are over you have a calm mind to think about tomorrow's tasks rather than rush into work as soon as you reach office the next day. Also it gives time to ponder over your task list and if you forget anything or something needs top be altered you could do that first thing in the morning. I guess to track down your tasks, even a simple excel would do.
List each task clearly and assign a priority and the number of hours you wish to put into it and you will be very good by just spending half an hour or so on the task management.
