We are currently using Worldpay to process our our software sales.

For a couple of reasons we are looking around for an alternative. One major reason being that US customers often get charged a hidden 2 or 3% international transaction fee by their banks. This is a result of Worldpay processing cards outside of the USA (even though they do it in USD). This fee, added on by the card issuing bank, often isn't itemised on the card statement and customers tend to get upset that the charged amount doesn't match the purchase amount. The other problems are that is there is very little control over the text appearing on the card statement, and the interface options are fairly inflexible.

Anyway can anyone suggest a good US based card processor. Good service, high up time and flexible interface options are more important that getting the absolute cheapest price.
