We have a client that has big growth plans and they want to be able to have some of our annual fees, with them, billed out on a monthly basis. This is not SAAS fees, but you can call it that if it helps give me a recommendation. I need an easy way to put in what they owe each month and it e-mails them or is a system they can login to pay, or something else that will automate the administrative task of doing monthly billing.

As I mentioned to our new friend that wants to create an accounting system, QuickBooks doesn't do this well, but we do use QuickBooks as our accounting software, so integration with that would be a nice plus. I know I'm asking for a lot.

Any ideas?

I'm answering my own question. I found www.2checkout.com. This will work well for the monthly billing that I will be doing.

Feeling schizophrenic as I talk to myself and change my mind but wanted to provide an update that the credit card processing through Costco that Hadley recommended to me a couple of years ago (that we have been using for our regular processing) has a monthly recurring billing option and it ends up that, although the upfront costs are high, in the end the savings on the ongoing charges will save us quite a bit over www.2checkout.com.

So, I've ordered the option from our regular processor.

I'm missing something here. Why would you not send them an e-mail each month with the amount -- perhaps in a PDF image of an "invoice" if that made them happier -- and they would enter it into their AP system, and send you a check 30 days later?
