Does anyone have recent success stories to share generating leads for a high-tech product to the higher ed market? This is for a telecom product ($50K+) being marketed to campus IT management.

We've used broadcast e-mail (to rented lists) for this audience with some success in the past, but that was over a year ago, and I'm fearful that those days may be behind us.

Direct mail comes to mind - any other tactics out there that have worked for others of late? Thanks for any and all ideas,

Howard
